John Gustafson
A Fast-Convergence Infinite Product for the Gamma Function Notices of the American Mathematical Society, May 1976

This paper won the Eric Temple Bell award at Caltech when Dr. Gustafson was a sophomore. It was the result of his first computer research done while still in high school, on an HP 9100B at Drake University.
